As an official partner of LOSC this season, Aluminium Dunkerque is proud to see its logo on the sleeve of the players’ shirts for the 8 matches in the Champions League group stage.
Through this partnership, we intend to underline our historic roots in the Hauts-de-France region, convey a positive and dynamic image of our company and involve our employees in the Dogues’ fine campaign, which is the pride of our region.
High-purity aluminium from Aluminium Dunkerque
Aluminium Dunkerque is currently developing an aluminium with a purity level of between 99.98% and 99.998% pure aluminium. Intended for the semiconductor, capacitor and battery markets, it will be launched on the market in 2027. Total capacity will be around 3,000 tonnes per year, once the 5 casting units are up and running. Production trials will take place in mid-2025. Like the rest of our range, this is a low-carbon aluminium, a key criterion for our customers.
Great success for our Family Day
On Saturday 28 September, Aluminium Dunkerque organised a Family Day, an event that gave the 171 registered employees the opportunity to introduce their families to the company and its production process. The day’s programme for the 600 guests included tours of the company, musical entertainment, inflatable structures, games for young and old and continuous catering.

The quest for eternal aluminium
Every year, Aluminium Dunkerque takes part in the Fabuleuse Factory organised in Dunkerque by Ecosystème D to change the way people look at industry and encourage young people to take up careers in the sector.
Innovating to strengthen the compliance of our products
In partnership with Aluminium Dunkerque, Dynamic Concept and Tpac are currently developing new ultrasonic inspection equipment for aluminium sheet to detect cracks that are invisible to the eye.
Aluminium Dunkerque at the heart of discussions on adapting to climate change
Aluminium Dunkerque, represented by its Managing Director Guillaume de Goÿs, took part in the Rencontre des Entrepreneurs de France, organised by the MEDEF, on the theme of ‘Climate: the power to adapt’. It was an opportunity to discuss concrete solutions for adapting to climate change, while discovering new tools that will help businesses to meet this challenge. One crucial point to emerge from the discussions was the distinction between adaptation and mitigation.
A new school year, a new class of work-study students!
While the class of 2023 of our work-study students gathered for a last moment of conviviality and a graduation ceremony with their tutors, 34 new work-study students started their training in September.
Today, there are a total of 64 work-study students working at Aluminium Dunkerque, from all sectors and support services.
Boosting school-business relations
Aluminium Dunkerque has been asked to appear in a short film about climate change in the Dunkirk area. The aim of the film, produced by the CAPA Entreprises agency, is to give a voice to the residents and businesses of the Communauté Urbaine de Dunkerque (Dunkirk Urban Community) so that they can tell the story of their experiences in the face of the many challenges posed by water.
