The Club d’Entreprises des Rives de l’Aa (CERAA), of which Aluminium Dunkerque has been a member for several years, celebrated its 20th anniversary on 7 December.
To mark the occasion, a conference on the theme of “The banks of the river Aa, between a rich history and a promising future” was given by the Chairman, Ludovic Isaert. Three guest speakers were also invited to address the evening: Sylvain Vité from EDF, Thierry Cochard from Di Sante and Olivier Rebouillat from Aluminium Dunkerque.
The talks were linked by the fact that they were given by three companies with long-standing roots in the area.
They have been closely involved in the area’s economic history, and today they are still supporting the unprecedented re-industrialisation it is undergoing thanks to the new sectors linked to decarbonisation.
