A majority agreement has been reached on the supporting measures for the project to transform the Aluminium Dunkerque plant organisation

Following the three negotiation meetings that were held on the supporting measures for the project to transform the Dunkirk plant organisation, Aluminium Pechiney’s senior management is delighted that a majority agreement has been reached with three trade union organisations, which have expressed their willingness to sign the agreement.

This agreement includes all the advances discussed during the negotiations. It will be presented at the next and final information-consultation procedure meetings, which will be held on 16 and 17 September.

The agreement will be submitted to the DIRECCTE (Direction Régionale des Entreprises, de la Concurrence, du Travail et de l’Emploi) for validation after which it which has 15 days to respond.

The signing of this agreement shows senior management’s and the signatory trade unions’ commitment to maintaining high-quality industrial relations dialogue in a difficult context.

We remain attentive to the needs of all employees and are setting up the resources necessary to support everyone during this transition period.
